I’m with you. The first hitter he looked great with his fastball. Lost it a bit once a runner got on base. Not worried about the results though. Obviously you’d like to see him strike out the side, but it’s not that important right now.

Kind of wonder if the Reds wanted Hunter to get tagged a bit. He's a wunderkind thrower, not a wunderkind pitcher. There is a difference. He's also wildly inexperienced. He was talking about being in the bigs this season, but he doesn't even know what he doesn't know. Now he's got a bit of clue. Still excited to see him ... in 2023.
