Greene doesn't have command of his pitches. Butt I'm loving the stuff, even if the results aren't there yet.

Yeah, the stuff is there. He just needs to stay healthy and learn to pitch. Which he should.

Seeing him throw and be healthy was all I cared about this outing. His first “real” game in 2 years? I’m sure he’s a little amped up.

I’m with you. The first hitter he looked great with his fastball. Lost it a bit once a runner got on base. Not worried about the results though. Obviously you’d like to see him strike out the side, but it’s not that important right now.

Kind of wonder if the Reds wanted Hunter to get tagged a bit. He's a wunderkind thrower, not a wunderkind pitcher. There is a difference. He's also wildly inexperienced. He was talking about being in the bigs this season, but he doesn't even know what he doesn't know. Now he's got a bit of clue. Still excited to see him ... in 2023.

It was exactly the kind of inning I wanted to see. His arm is attached and he’s back to effortless 100. Ran into a bunch of trouble to humble him a bit.

Greene has a lot of learning to do.

    Hoping he gets it
