I was at Opening Day 2009 against the Mets. It was 37° and overcast. My buddy and I had seats about 10-15 rows behind the Reds dugout. I had thrown out my back the day before while picking up twigs and branches in my front yard. Opening Day is fun even without tickets... Last week I could have grabbed 2 seats to the SECOND game of the season for $18 each.
As it is, I'm taking my son to the 3rd game of the season... all the peanuts/popcorn/pop he can eat.
I'm too cheap to pay premium prices (especially for a sub-standard product)
Just saw a pop up ad for vividseats that has opening day tickets as low as $59

Sorry if slightly off topic but like every year, 700wlw has all day coverage going on right now. I always love to hear Bill Cunningham’s speech just before game time. Yes, he always predicts Reds to win the World Series.

It appears that some face-value tickets have been released--there are tickets right now via the MLB and Ballpark apps.
