    Castillo becomes elite, Gray continues to be good, Antone earns his way into the rotation and is stellar. Miley holds his own and provide a solid #4-level starter.

    The Driveline guys separate the wheat in the chaff of arms signed in the off-season and cobble together an effective bullpen.

    Votto carries through with his promise of more power. His OBP declines a bit but SLG goes up. Suarez hits 42 dingers, Moose has a solid year, Senzel has a breakout year in CF, Castellanos has a near MVP year. Stephenson earns his way into #1 catcher.

    And Bell doesn’t do anything stupid.

    So if Suarez ends up being not a disaster at SS, I think the earlier prediction I made is low. If that move sticks, I'll go with 84 wins.

    I agree with all of this (high five). I hope they give it a shot (it's their only real shot, save for a Story trade). The OF without DH is what worries me the most, but at least Winker can make up for defensive flubs at the plate.

    And if it doesn't work, at least they'll be trying out a bunch of guys in the 'pen, move a few contracts and maybe see what Lodolo and Garcia can bring.
