No tanking. I just don't think this team can win and will be out of it and selling at the deadline. The in house replacements will come up and provide the all around play that the current group is missing.

Michael Lorenzen starts 30 games, and hits 10 Bombs, also steals 10 bases. Brandon Finnegan works his way back to the big leagues, and re-establishes himself as a reliable arm out of the bullpen.

If they could move one or both of the Castellanos/Moose contracts it would create a lot of payflex in the near-term. Or maybe Cast has a monster year and just decides to opt out.

Moose at least can play 1B/2B/3B and DH in 22-23 if they can't find a taker. Castellanos is the guy who needs to find a new home.

I think Cast is going to have a monster year offensively, but I agree it’s his contract that is the issue, and no one else’s. The Reds easily could have gotten his production overall, considering his defense, from Shogo and/or Aquino, and used that money for a SS.

I predict Nick Castellanos will help the Reds win a lot more games with his bat than he will cause them to lose with his defense.

The Reds will experience a maiming tragedy when they accidently schedule Johnny Bench's Blue Emu day the same day that the Liberty Insurance Emu is a guest for a children's petting zoo display before the game starts, both Jim Day and Tommy Thrall lose a finger and an ear in a tussle in front of the Reds dugout and 45 children before a Cincinnati cop kills the emu with his taser in shallow right field

seeing Naquin run around there today in number 27 I predict it'll be the biggest dropoff in production for a uniform number in the history of the game

Someone will make a post on the 2nd day of the season wondering why it's an off day.

Larry Stahl returns at age 79 to lead Reds to within a game of playoffs, eliminated (ironically) on last day of season by Stahl's old team, the Padres.

I don't feel this qualifies under Bold, Wild, or Insane. More like "Shouldn't you be out on a ledge somewhere?" LMAO

My bold prediction? .... The Reds will finish above .500, for the second straight season. Whatever falls between those foul lines I'm not gonna try to predict. lol
