The game only looks to be on 700wlw.

Why in the Blue Oyster Cult is Suarez not getting more experience at SS? I am assuming he is still the plan?

The starters aren't going to be going everyday just yet. Plus it's obvious he still needs help, so why not spend the day coaching him up?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I was lead to believe that he had been working on this on the backfield since around when camp opened. So if he is back to the need to being coached up in lieu of game experience it is time to pull the plug. There is less than a dozen games left in ST!

I'm sure these some substitute related reason for the 3 and 4 spots but this is still very funny.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

What's the benefit of practicing in official Spring Training games versus practicing on the back fields in Spring Training?

    Neither count.

Then why play them at all? I would rather watch a play where the director and actors took rehearsal seriously over a play where they decided to wing it until opening night.

You don't think practice on the backfields is serious?

Or, better yet, why do you think the Spring Training exhibitions are somehow better?

If the previous game's errors were indeed a result of "jitters," absolutely. Performing under the pressure of an audience is pretty hard.

Pretty sure Suarez is used to playing without jitters and understands the pressure of being a major league baseball player.

Complaining about spring training lineups is about as tiresome as people who complain about complaining about spring training lineups.

And perhaps they've seen some stuff that they want to work on with a longer session today rather than have him just get a handful of chances.
