Is Joe Musgrove on a roll or what? His stats over his last 4 starts: 27 IP, 9 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 39 K.

Musgrove is still doing nothing special through 8 tonight.

Didn't know there were so many Padres fans in Arlington, TX.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I agree, I could care less about him, but the media loves that stuff.
Remember when Bo Jackson made the highlights every night, even if he went 0-5? I remember one night, he went hitless, but got a groundball out RBI, and that's what made the highlight reel. lol.. The guy was a great athlete, not that great of a baseball player to warrant all the attention he got. He was just another novelty.. 2 sport guy.
I remember. I guess in an age of specialty, the 2 sport guy is the unicorn. Surprised Bo got so much attention since he didn't play on either coast when he came up.

He's been in the league since 2018 and has played in 261 out of 391 games as a DH and has only made 13 starts as a pitcher. I don't disagree with the hype, he's got the talent, but I do agree the media coverage is a bit overblown for him, especially when you hear far more about him than his teammate who's been the best player in baseball for a while now.
I agree. You got me thinking: has anyone posted a thread for the all time fragile player lineup? I would start with senzel in center field and ohtani at dh.

Nick Senzel, the all-time MLB Fragile CF?

Mike Sweeney had a pretty solid career going in the early 2000s and then he just started living on the IL.

I think he had surgery on both knees one year.
