It was JNJ - what, 66% effective at preventing infection or the like. No one is symptomatic I think so it’s doing it’s job.

It also brings up the issue of how accurate the test is

If the tests were THAT inaccurate, there would be positives all over the league and in all sports. We are seeing a handful here and there, so I don't think this is a testing accuracy issue

Also, there have been cases where the flu and cold viruses have given a false positive on the covid test.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

If the lab runs enough cycles on a test they can make anyone positive. 26 cycles is about right. 40 cycles can make any test positive. Is there enough virus to be contagious? I think going through all this trouble to quarantine asymptomatic fully vaccinated people is a poor use of resources and is a self created hassle

Whether baseball is handling positive tests correctly is a different argument.

All I'm saying is all players and staffs on all teams in all sports are tested multiple times a week. If "40 cycles can make any test positive" then there would be multiple players on every team in every sport testing positive on a weekly basis. The fact that this isn't happening tells me it's not a testing accuracy issue.
