Sadak ok...don’t like the Gus Johnson moments when they aren’t really close plays.

Man I love Barry Larkin but he seems out of touch a bit with today’s game....too much referring back but did have some good points.

Welsh...kinda got lost in all of Barry’s talking

Overall I want Barry to say less and Welsh to say a bit more....and Sadak to chill a bit when a guy is out by a step.

    I liked Sadak

    I've always like Welsh.

    Too early to judge Larkin

Not a big fan of a three man booth Never have been. Is it going to be that way for all home games? Or, was it like that yesterday just because it was opening day?

That’s the thing though. It doesn’t have to be a headache if they embrace it in a good-natured way, and each one adds something.

Agreed except I did split 50/50 with tv and then radio. Just couldn't stand all the chatter from the 3-man booth and Sadak's overexcitement and accents.

I think Sadak is good and could get better.
It's not going to be a 3 man booth.
Larkin is going to do home games
Welsh is going to do games on the road
They were all together yesterday because opening day

Is it too late to bring Thom back?

I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith, as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that’ll be a home run. And so that’ll make it a wrap on Thom Brennaman's career as a Reds broadcaster.

Was yesterday a special opening day 3-man booth? 2-man is clearly the way to go.

One too many and Larkin wasn't good yesterday. Sadak was good though.

i mentioned this earlier in the thread: the 3-man booth was very likely just an opening day thing. i bet they will be going back to a 2-man booth for remainder of season.

Rick Monday is talking about bunting and Dee Gordon, while Bauer pitches... and he’s even older than Larkin.

But he did save the flag in 76 so we’re giving him a pass on his old school stuff today.

Barry talked a little too much. But, told some good stories. I loved the story about the manager telling the team they were guaranteed to lose at least half their games on opening day. Plus, he gave some decent insights. But, I've also become pretty anti-analytics and what it's done to the game. So, I'm probably not a good barometer for whether redszone will like Larkin.
The comparison to Dan Shulman is spot on. Uncanny actually.

Really like Sadak. Great play by play.

Would rather have Larkin back at SS based on need.

Sadak is good. Barry Larkin is making me dislike him greatly thanks to his rah-rah moments and condescending "educational" wastes of time such as why a starting pitcher needs to learn to handle the bat if he's going to get to the later innings. He is eating all the space.

Lark thinks he's getting paid by the word
