David Bell said he's not concerned that Jesse Winker will be out long-term. It was flu-like symptoms, not COVID-related.

This made me wonder about the Reds players getting vaccinated. Other teams have announced that they're working towards that 85% threshold but I haven't seen anything about it from the Reds.

Anyway, Winker's flu-like symptoms just made me wonder if it was a reaction to the vaccine.

With Ohio vaccine open to the public for a week now and the Cards getting it in Ohio so easy I would hope so...

Probably, yeah. I haven't heard of anyone getting the regular old flu in about a year. I have heard that the second dose can do some damage to people of all ages and body types.

Garrett got his a few days ago so I’d assume a good amount of them did as well.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Would have thought Moran would be the Pirate to go deep early, he absolutely feasts on Reds RH pitching.

    Ah and there it is.

That’s the 7th HR for Moran in GABP, this is just the 24th game he’s playing here.
