.316/.400/.602 with a team OPS of 1.002
That's currently 50 points ahead of the second place Dodgers and 109 better than the Astros in team OPS.
I find it wild that two NL teams have better team OPS than the best AL team despite hitting pitchers.
Reds are 1st in OPS, 2d in BA and OBP (both to the Dodgers) and 1st in SLG.
Despite missing Sonny Gray and the game 1 Castillo implosion, Reds pitching is 4th in WHIP with 1.02. ... but the team is also tied for 1st with HR allowed with 10. Leaving GABP tomorrow should help with that though.
Reds are now headed to AZ to face a staff that is 27th in WHIP and a lineup that is 18th in .OPS.
Let's keep this going!
