ha, this is true. i for one am glad he's sticking with a more consistent lineup. he can always bench votto or move him down later. i'm fine with him giving it more than 9 games.

Votto has hit some rockets so far. His problem is the shift eats him alive. Their busting him inside too. That's difficult for a lefty to take that inside pitch the other way; especially on a line or a ground ball. I also think he's holding his hands too high. I'm not really sure why he thought he needed to change anything. But it's Joey, and he's always gonna be tinkering.
