I think all 3 of Cowboy, Welsh, and Larkin are clueless to a lot of these bon mots. As well as me to the more recent ones.

Its funny you mention Al Michaels as that is one of the things I loved about Michaels calls is his witticisms and historical and cultural references that might be obscure to the less informed.
I say if you don’t get you should get out of the house more often... :-)

The references are honestly already kinda grating to me lol. They feel so forced.
