Of the 4 Qualifying betters in the Reds lineup (Votto, Castellanos, Suarez, & Moose), Votto has the highest average exit velocity. He truly has hit into some bad luck.

I think it was entirely the logical move not to retain Gausman given the money he would have earned and his overall poor performance before coming to Cincy but it still leaves a bit of bitter taste seeing him flourish elsewhere.
