Scott Schebler had his contract purchased by the Angels today. Good for him.

Why? Based on how he has hit the ball so far this year, Votto's 'Expected Batting Average' is .320. The difference between his 'Expected' and 'Actual' batting average is the 8th largest in MLB. He's hit into a lot of bad luck this year.

Larkin thinks things get emotional for the players over the Ohio cup. Don't think so Barry it is just another game. Was fun for a while but I believe interleague has ran it's course.
Wish they would go back to even amount of teams in each league and drop interleague play.

If I’m being honest I dislike him due to all the ill-gotten love he got on here.

    Boo Schebler.

I guess Bell wants consistency, but I would have flipped Farmer and Suarez defensively.

I’d rather (now that there are some fans) there be empty seats than have to look at those stupid crowd cut-outs.

I’m been impressed by Hoffman but he needs to watch those 94 mph center-cut pitches.

Mostly agree. Every year, it seems more and more like something they want people to care about vs. something people actually get excited about.

Hoffman doesn’t have great stuff, but he is always around the plate. I think he can be successful in the fifth starter role. Looks like a professional pitcher.

Really wish they would drop inter league play, it’s boring now.

Fox Sports Ohio, now Bally’s has always tried to make the Ohio Cup a thing. I don’t know any Reds or Indian fan who cares.

    He doesn't hit lefties well.

Yeah. Hoffman and Miley are probably as good of 4th and 5th starters as most teams have and better than some have.
