At least it was a solo-shot.

One fastball too many there by Hoffman
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

throwing a fastball every pitch is usually not a good strategy. it's how even a scrub like amed rosario takes you yard.

That’s the Jeff Hoffman blue plate special that’s led to his departure from all his prior stops.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

Hoffman needs to settle down. It's too early in the game to pull him.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Hoffman doesn’t have enough stuff to pitch in the heart of the zone.

Double that nearly achieved escape velocity. Injuns are Hassling The Hoff.

You mean regional matches or all interleague as a whole? A little hard unless they drop 2 teams or go back to 16/14.

It just doesn’t bother me that much anymore. I guess we get so much of the 4 in our division any variety is good with me...

Yeah, fastball is straight as well...means batters aren’t going to chase much that is off the plate.

He can be effective but he’s gotta figure it out.

The Ohio Cup is the most important part of my life, but go off I guess.
