Gotta hope that Beiber has a rare bad outing or we can scrap and claw and keep it close when they pull him and win it late again. Hoping for the Brooms today!!!

Just gonna repeat what I said yesterday about being sick of Bell starting Naquin over Senzel. There’s absolutely zero reason those players should be platooned at all. I know Senzel’s been on a cold streak, but so has Naquin himself. It’s also completely inexplicable that he pinch hit both Schrock and Payton before putting Nick into the game last night.

But whatever, this is the same genius who nearly coughed up yesterday’s game with the brilliant move of letting Gray hit with RISP only to yank him a batter later the next inning.

it's why i feel yesterday's win was so huge. now even if one of the best pitchers in all of baseball gets the reds today -- i mean it will still stink -- but either way we're gonna win this series. and who knows, like you said, maybe this reds offense can get to bieber, or maybe he'll just have an off day. house money at this point and getting the sweep would be sweet.

I agree with Naquin today and Schrock today. I just wish Moose was ready at 3b.

Day 3 of Moose's non-Covid related illness that will keep him out for 1 day at most.

hopefully he's at least available to pinch hit/come in as a replacement.

    It’s not COVID related.

Gotta say, given the fact that the flu was basically non existent this year due to covid safety precautions, it’s super weird that the Reds have already been hit with some kind of non covid illness that has kept 2 of their players out for a few days time or longer.

Cleveland owns the Reds in the same way I own Bitcoin.

    2) It’s all made up anyway

Side effects of the 2nd vaccine shot?

If it's not that, it's very weird.

I could see that maybe, although Winker missed a whole week and Moose is on his 3rd day, and from what I feel like I’ve observed at least anecdotally speaking having the worst side effects lasting more than a day or two seems like it’s fairly rare.
    Who knows though.

Yes, very spot on true. Reds if losing yesterday stood big chance of losing this series. That win was huge.

Today Reds need Miley to keep it close and have chance to win late in game and hopefully before there are 2 outs in the 9th and no one on.

The Saturday come back triple play grounder through the legs 2 out extra inning blast by Stephenson to win in 10th is what makes up a season to remember and one where you need those type of wins to accumulate around 90 wins and playoff berth. Excellent win.
