Do we know what studs are eligible to be picked by the Reds with the first pick of the 2021 draft?

So far, looking like it’s still not warm enough for Castillo.

Reds walk rate on offense has declined over the season so far.

it’s now fourth lowest in the NL.

    Here we go again
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Feeling pretty beat up over this losing streak. Not sure I can stick with it today if they get down a couple runs.

All in all, that was a much better first inning for Castillo.

Suarez footwork cost him a bad throw and Joey DID bail him out.

    So that’s good.

yea, good for Castilo to get the DP to end the inning. That was nice.

I don’t focus on the walk rate so much...it is important. I just want the batters to understand how they are likely to be attacked based on their weaknesses at the plate....or game situation.

I don’t know what kind of results the Reds think they are getting from their shifting analytics, but they’d be way better off to just play the regular infield positions...they’ve given up nothing but shift hits all weekend...pretty freaking frustrating to watch...

Yeah, but walk rate is reflective of batting approach.

With the kind of pitching in baseball today, spin rates, velocity, you’d like to see hitters being selective.
