India was hit in the head with a fastball a few games ago. It could be a concussion.

If they don't list a reason it's covid. Get the stupid shot. Would be ironic if he got Wally Pipped because of that.

That’d be my guess, especially since it’s his second HBP in the head of the year in just a few short weeks.

Sounds more like a close contact precaution. Even if you've gotten the vaccine you can go on the IL for this reason.

I just meant it was Covid related. Thanks for the clarification.

I was more addressing people assuming he didn't get the vaccine, where is reality no one knows if he did and if I was a betting man I would guess he did as it was mentioned on TV that the Reds were close to the 85% threshold.

Is there a rule about concussions and short stints in the IL? That could explain it too.

Somebody suggested it might have been a vaccine reaction.

is MLB mandating that players get the shot? if not, they should. and if they don't, the reds should make all their players get it.

listen to the medical professionals. 100% of them say to get the vax.

I've thought that the Reds reached that 85% threshold just because almost nobody is wearing masks in the dugout anymore, which is one of the restrictions that are lifted once you get to that 85%.
