I agree , he's not good. To his credit, he's been adequate as a 5th starter. Yes, we knew the hitters would figure him out, but
I'm thankful we got 5-6 good starts out of him.
Problem is, if you put him in the bullpen, and then I assume you want Antone in the rotation,then Sims is the only reliable reliever Bell has.
So, not criticizing your idea, just saying that Bell has a thin staff.

In no way scenario do I move Antone to the rotation. I want an outside SP or Vlad, maybe Santillan to get a shot. Hoffman would be good in the 'pen.

i hate the "strike out the side" stuff unless it's a 1-2-3 inning. if you get shelled for 3 runs, but get 3 ks, it's not exactly striking out the side. because, "the side" got 3 runs off your bum arse.

Hopefully Hoffman don't tank but I wouldn't bet against it.

It depends on the scenario. If the reds are in the hunt they will trade for an upgrade. If they are not he will either finish the season as a starter for the reds or they will churn the roster.
