Re: JaxRed's Weekly Monday Off-Day Top Prospect List - Performance Based

Rules are rules. The Hunter Greene not making the list thing may last longer than I expected. And Barrera has similar problem at AAA. Ironically both at futures game.

And since this is stats based - A lot of AAAA players are going to make this list.

    1. Alejo Lopez - 2b/3b - MLB - .333 - .358 avg, .436 OBP, .963 OPS in AAA after hitting this in AA - .356 avg, .435 OBP, 870 OPS. If things don't pick up in majors this will plummet.
    2. Graham Ashcraft - P - AA - 0.00 ERA in 20 innings. 5 hits. High A - 2.33 ERA 55/13/ratio in 38 innings. 43 consecutive shutout innings. Winner of AA South pitcher of week twice in a row,
    3. Nick Lodolo - P - AA - 0.90 ERA, 45/6 Ratio. 19 hits in 30 innings. Returns from blister DL on 6 July.
    4. Tony Santillan P - MLB - 3.78 ERA in majors and 2.51 ERA in AAA with 45/12 K/BB ratio. Moved to AAA bullpen.
    5. Vladimir Gutierrez - P - MLB - 2.65 ERA, 21/7 ratio, 9 hits in 17 innings in AAA, and then 4.67 ERA in 6 starts with Reds. Position in jeopardy with MLB ERA.
    6. Dauri Moreta - P - AA - 1.35 ERA, 35/7 ratio, 17 hits in 26 innings
    7. Braxton Roxby - P - High A - 1.80 ERA 34/13 ratio, 11 hits in 20 innings.
    8. James Proctor - P - Low A - 1.43 ERA and 51/17 K ratio. On 7 Day DL
    9. Cionel Perez - P - MLB - AAA - 0.90 ERA and 12/3 ratio. He isn't walking guys in AAA. Two scoreless outings in majors
    10. Eddy Demurias - AA - After 0.00 ERA in Dayton, sports a 1.15 ERA in AA.
    11. RJ Alainiz - P - AAA - 1.88 ERA 32/6 ratio
    12. Evan Kravetz - P - Low A - 1.64 ERA, 33/10 K ratio, 10 hits in 22 innings (went on DL)
    13. Phillip Diehl - P - AAA - 2.59 ERA, 32/4 ratio.
    14. Nick Howard - P - AA - 2.29 ERA, 28/8 ratio,
    15. Michael Byrne, P - AA - 2.14 ERA 17/2 ratio,
    16. Lorenzo Cedrola - RF - AA - .330 avg, .362, .832 OPS
    17. Francisco Urbaez - High A - 2b - .311 .397, .844 OPS
    18. TJ Friedl - AAA, OF - .274 avg, .374 OPB, .837 OPS
    19. Vincent Timpanelli - P - Low A - .183 ERA 19 innings, 4 hits. 30/13 ratio
    20. Jeff Hoffman - P - AAA - 0.00 ERA in 10 innings. 5 hits, 13/3 ratio.

Francisco Urbaez's OPS is one point from 900 as an NDFA. He plays 2B and seems to be fairly sure-handed (4 errors total in 118 chances). He's been challenged with the Advanced A level.

    What am I missing?

Will he have to do it in AA before most posters take notice?

    Yes.

AAA is almost without any hitting prospects. I'd probably be more aggressive this year.

I keep waiting for Kolosvary to turn into a pumpkin. Mostly because he hit .188 last time we saw him. I do recall hearing he took Bieber or someone real good deep this spring in a B game, so maybe there is something there.
Two months later India is far better than a replacement level player. In fact he's on pace to be about a 3 WAR guy. Kudos to him
