I have to assume it was a mixup on the sign. If Senzel ran on his own on a 3-0 count, with Winker up, he needs to have a conversation with the manager. Good point that it’s unclear what Winker does if Senzel is on base.

True. I think Hoffman works in the bullpen better than JDL does anywhere. But they have similar stuff, similar tendencies. Both kind of suck, too.
