We shouldn't complain about Farmer anymore. He is hitting over .300 in games he has started this season.

I reserve the right to complain if a 30-yo player who has hit like Billy Hamilton for his career but without the speed or defense gets to start everyday.

With Farmer at short and Naquin in CF, both of which seem appropriate, Senzel is now likely regularly at second.

So - I’d look for India to be optioned to get more playing time.

I’m fine with this, Naquin is really producing and Farmer has stabilized shortstop for now. When Votto comes back there will be another decision to make on the regular lineup.

it probably shouldn't matter but i agree if he'd been dominant all season it mighta made a difference for me but as it was it was a little embarrassing or at least made me uncomfortable....I like Garrett too but I also liked me some Dietrich and Puig and both of those guys went over the top a few times and made me uncomfortable

Last year we learned that no one chirps from the dugout more than the Cubs... and several teams have issues with it... No doubt AG was over the top, but there a reason he called out the whole dugout, because I can imagine what they were giving to him earlier.

FWIW, Brubaker is the Pirates best starter. In his worst start this year, he still only gave up 3 earned runs.
