    In spite of what happened on the Statue of Liberty, he outlived Bob Cummings by about thirty years.

    St. Elsewhere was the first TV drama I got attached to as an adult, and Norman Lloyd was my favorite as the kind older administrator. I didn't see Sabotauer until later, and I had to look hard to realize it was the same person. A few weeks ago, btw, I was watching an old Columbo and noticing a few Hitchcockian shots, and when the credits rolled, I saw Norman Lloyd was the director.
