I missed my first inning all season today. The first inning. Turned it on just as Moose blasted one. This lineup really needs him to get going on a tear.

They posted .300 average on the season as a starter. That doesn't include pinch hitting or Bells famous double switches. I find it hard to believe but that is what the TV posted.

I'm sending India down just to get him playing time which he needs. I keep Senzel up to speed on both CF and 2b. That makes him very valuable. It would be different if we knew we had either a long term sure fire 2b or CF.

I thought Senzel did fine in CF but I agree 100% he needs to play 2b everyday. Less chance of injury and he looks better at 2b than CF. And yes send India down so he can play. I maybe wrong but I am going to predict he is send down after the game today. If not when they return home. I would do it now.

yea, he's probably a plus 2b (offensively and defensively). I think he's just adequate in CF defensively (definitely not an insult, it's a hard position to play and the best athletes go there).

I keep saying and thinking Naquin is playing way over his head. He keeps on producing. So they have to play him over a guy like Shogo. I cringe at Naquin's bad routes to balls and his rag throwing arm. Not that Shogo's arm is any better. This team probably has the weakest throwing arms of any OF.

They might need to give Shogo some playing time at AAA also. He is 0 for 2021 (including spring training) and hit .111 in AAA. The one hit there was a comebacker deflected by pitcher.

The problem with Senzel at second base is the defensive OF. It’s quite poor without him. For this year, whatever, but if he’s to move to infield permanently Reds need to revamp the defensive OF. They should have opportunities if Cast leaves and/or the DH rule comes back for Winker.
