End of 4, Reds up 1-0.
I'm glad we have the lead, but we are really making Cahill look too good. This guy really hasn't been that good since , about 2018 or so? He's kind of a bum now.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

How come this team always struggles to score runs after a game in which they do it with ease? Is there an explanation for that-- is it that they do better against pitchers that are hard throwers?

I think it's just the randomness of baseball.

Yeah, and I know Sonny hasn't allowed a run, but you would think he would be carving these guys up. They just keep scrapping his pitch count up.

    My take:

Too reliant on the HR again. No run mfg unless its the 10th inning.

Lol, that’s not what he said. His point was the Pirates are hitting a lot of bloops that have eyes.

Yea, Sonny doesn't have his normal control today. It's nice he's avoided damage.

With the exception of Monday, Reds have had trouble hitting on road this year. Maybe Colorado will help.

That's just amazing, Reds as a team lead the NL in team batting average at 247.
I don't keep track of this stuff, but I would've thought the best batting team in the NL would be better than that.

Why is Suarez swinging at 3-0 pitch?

Yeah, they led in 2010, but with a .272 average. It was .278 excluding pitchers.
