The Reds placed IF Mike Moustakas on the 10-day IL with a right heel contusion and recalled IF Max Schrock. Moustakas’ move is retroactive to Wednesday. Moustakas had pinch-hit and come in later for defense on Monday and Tuesday.

Senzel wasn’t running well, it’s not surprising that he’s out a few days. If he remains out in the weekend series coming up, I’d find that concerning.
Too bad Votto and Moose remain out against good RHP. Not enough LHH in there today against Cueto. I’d have played Barnhart at first base or tried to work in Schrock.

Agreed that Barnhart should be in there to add another lefty. Cueto is going to carve up this lineup without much effort, I'm afraid.
With Mahle going, maybe this'll be one of those they can win like 1-0 or 2-1.
