Who was that HS 3b that was supposed to have light tower power that nobody had heard of drafted early by Buckley?

It's early, but Alex McGarry's line is .344/ .450/ .813/ 1.263. Lots of K's (12 in 40 PA) indicate he's been a bit lucky on the swing-and-miss, but seven BBs and a HR every 10 ABs is pretty good. He's 23, but in his first year of professional ball.

Which brings up an interesting point: Should we ignore age for the next couple of seasons as prospects move through the levels? Focus on age related to peers? (If so, McGarry is still old for A+, but only slightly.) What's your opinion?

2 HR's after being promoted to A+ last night. Could he be the replacement for Votto?

Triana appears to be shaking some of the rust off after not playing for a couple years.

We have a long way to go before that happens, but he looks like a legitimate prospect at this point. (Which is more than I thought he'd be.)

Last seven days, his line is .364/ .529/ .545/ 1.075. But it's only 17 PAs.

Good to see, at any rate.

Wondering how Daytona will play this season in terms of sapping power/ slugging.

I want him to dominate, but yeah, AA seems to be little problem at this point. Of course, it's only 22.2 IP, so we may want to wait for awhile.
