Am I reading it correctly that the Reds have a team option for Sonny for the 12M in ‘23?

Pretty affordable if you ask me. Why would you not want to keep him to tutor Lodolo and Greene, Antone? You know what you have.
because the reds are a terrible organization. sonny has a team-friendly contract if anything.

The mood would be way different if Castillo was 7-1 vs 1-7

David Bell said things are still pointing toward Wade Miley starting Sunday in Chicago. That's the first day he is eligible to return from the IL.

Shogo Akiyama’s 1st inning grounder into a force out was the hardest hit ball he’s had with the Reds (108.0). Previous had been 104 last August vs Tyler Chatwood/Cubs.

Most Managers, Players, and Coaches really like the 7 inning games because they were used to always playing 7 inning double headers in the minor leagues.

The baseball gods show up again this series. Reds beat Scherzer and Strasburg but lose to Ross. Go figure.

I have come to the mathematical conclusion that the Reds success is inversely proportional to the ERA of the starting pitcher.

They won behind Gray and Mahle and lost when Hoffman started. They don't hit much against anybody, so it's the Reds pitching that makes or breaks them.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
