Is anyone beside Garcia in AA hitting? I know Alf Rod is only one hitting in AAA. I would like to see Payton off the 40 man and someone from the minors up. I mean they couldn't be worse than Payton.

I stand corrected. I thought Redus came in 1984, but in 1983 there was a Reds OF of Redus, Milner and Householder. Cedeno was supposed to be in there, but he was terrible as a Reds. Of course, he got good again when traded to the Cardinals

He sucks the eye test tells me that. Possibly the work hitter on a MLB roster. If not he is bottom 5. Why not try to have a stronger bench?
