On the Reds broadcast, they say Lidolo may have left due to a blister.

DAYTON - The Dragona frolick 10-4 today. Dayton stole 5 bases off of the River Bandits. Isn't that ironic?
Graham Ashcraft shut down the River Bandits for 5 innings.
The relief corps provided none.
Jacob Hurtubise singled, walked twice, stole 2 bases, scored 2 runs and batted in 2 more. He also thew out a runner at home. That's called stuffing the stat sheet.
Eric Yang singled, doubled and drove in a run.
Alex McGarry singled twice, walked, stole a base and scored twice. High-A OPS is up to .821 after a slow start with Dayton.
Francisco Urbaez singled twice, doubled, walked, scored 2 runs and drove in 2 more.
CHATTANOOGA - The Lookouts scored in the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th before finally putting out the Smokies.
Nick Lodolo only went 4 IP, while giving up 3 earned runs. He did strike out 6. He may have come out early due to a blister on his little finger, maybe he a got blister on his thumb.
JC Keys hurled a shutout frame. (1K).
As did Dauri Moreta. (2Ks).
Alejo Lopez singled, walked and was hit by a pitch.
Michael De Leon singled 3 times, homered (1), scored one run and batted home 3. The home run came with a runner on and two outs in the 9th to send the game into extras.
Brian Rey singled, walked.
Yoel Yanqui singled twice and doubled. 6-13 over the last 3 contests.

LOUISVILLE - Hopes were high as the Kentucky Air National Guard flew in formation over the stadium before the start of the contest. Alas, Louisville is trailing 6-0, through 6. And, even with the Mud Hens tacking on more runs in the 7th, you just know those stands are still full. The sky is gonna be lit up with fireworks after the game.
It turn out that Ashton Godeau wasn't worth waiting for.
Hector Perez, on the other hand, was. At least for today. 2 shutout frames by HP.
And, so was Phillip Diehl, as he hung up a zero on the stadium scoreboard.
There may be fireworks after the game, but there have been none in the Louisville hitters bats. Singles by Bell and Smith, Jr are it. No mas.
Wily Peralta hypnotized Louisville for the first four innings of the contest.
Drew Carlton pitched like Steve, working 2 hitless frames.

LOUISVILLE - Hope the beer was cold and the dogs were hot, because the home team gave the fans little to cheer for. 10 - 0 Mud Hens.
Hector Perez is the only pitcher worth mentioning, and the Bats used 6 of them: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 K.
Singles by Brantley Bell, Chris Okey and Dwight Smith, Jr.
Just fyi, Perez wasn't that good either. Friedl made a pretty good play in CF to limit the damage to one walk, but by that point, the strike zone was w i d e.
The Bats might be the worst team I've seen in Louisville in a decade or two.
Defensively, the two errors don't even tell the whole story on how bad they were. They made three or four miscues that weren't quite errors, but led to runs. Bell at 1B couldn't dig a ball in the dirt or corral a Baltimore chop just over his glove, Beyond Errol Robinson's error, he didn't make two plays up the middle that cost runs. Rodriguez was thisclose to a diving attempt that fell. Crook had a bad break on a ball he should have gotten. Freeman made one error and didn't come up with a relatively difficult infield single he probably should have made on top of that. Lots of those types of plays. Friedl looked serviceable in CF. Okey threw one guy out stealing. Literally, that was it.
Offensively, one ball was stung all night total. (Friedl's loud CF out.) Everything else was routine. Not just routine. Easy. Cans of corn. No power at all. (Obviously.) And the approaches are bad too. Okey chased a ball that bounced eight feet in front of home plate for strike three, for example.
The pitching was just horrid. Not just the hits and homers, but loud outs. Friedl was busy all night. 8 BBs was bad, but the nibbling was worse. I suspect that's what happens when you know you don't have the stuff to challenge hitters. And the guys who do have the stuff have no clue where it's going. Perez has a live arm, but he struggled with command in his limited time on the mound. Perhaps it was all the extra outs, but there wasn't one guy who looked like a sure-fire MLB ballplayer which is really odd for a AAA team.

Why is Chris Okey still even employed. Why is Buckley still employed even if he’s not in charge of the ML.
Beau Taylor is a catcher on the 40. If there was a injury he would be the call up.

All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
