Louisville - TJ Friedl walked with 2 down in the bottom of the 8th. Alejo Lopez pinch hit for Joey Votto and singled. Errol Robinson has just walked. So, the Bats, trailing by one, have the bases loaded with 2 outs. Alfredo Rodriguez is at the dish. Alfredo comes through with a clutch 2-run single. Bats have tied things up 2-2. Dwight Smith, Jr. has just doubled home the go-ahead run. 3-2 Bats.

Brantley Bell singles home two, and it is officially become a laugher. Bats up 5-2 in the bottom of the 8th. Narciso Crook doubles a run home. 6-2. 7 straight have reached base.

Daytona - A Garrett Wolforth two-out double, and a pair of throwing errors draw Daytona a run closer in the 7th. They are still in a 6-2 hole.

Timpanelli walked one and struck out a pair, while hitting 97 on the gun.

Louisville - Louisville waited until there were 2 outs and nobody on, with the team being blanked 2-0, to open up a can of whoopass. 7 consecutive batters reached base, scoring 6 runs. They down St. Paul 6-2.

Riley O'Brien with a fair start: 4.2 IP, 2 ER, 6 K.
The bullpen took over and shut down St. Paul the rest of the way. Jose De Leon (.2 IP), Brandon Finnegan (1.1 IP), RJ Alaniz (1.1 IP) and Art Warren (1.0 IP). The pen gave up just 2 hits and struck out 8.

Errol Robinson walked twice and scored a run.
Alfredo Rodriguez singled twice, scored a run and drove home two more.
Brantley Bell singled twice, scored a run and drove home two more.
Narciso Crook doubled, walked and drove in a run.

Daytona - Juan Manuel Abril has faced 8 batters so far. And, not a single one of them has put the ball into play - 5 walks and 3 strike outs. He has thrown 49 pitches in 1+ inning of work. Make that 10 straight. 4 Ks. 6 BBs. And the streak is finally over. Sac fly to left. Clearwater scores 8 runs on 4 hits. Clearwater has as many errors as base hits. That is not usually a good sign.

Injury update:
Tyler Callihan hurt himself diving for a ground ball.
Rece Hinds singled and appears to have hurt himself negotiating the basepaths. Trainer was looking at his left leg.

That means the big three youngsters - Callihan, Hinds and Hendrick - are all hurt.

Bottom of the 9th, 'Tugas need 6 to tie, 7 to win.
