Dayton GM 1 Recap - Dragons fall 6-3.
Lyon Richardson Went 4 innings, fanning 7. He gave up a solo shot.
The pen stunk on ice. Manuel Medrano combined to give up 5 runs in 2 innings. They walked 5 batters, 4 of which scored.
Quincy McAfee singled twice.
Francisco Urbaez lashed a 2-run homer (2).
Chattanooga GM 1 1-zip 'Nooga. Chuckie Robinson singled. Mariel Bautista singled him home.
Louisville GM 1 - Runners on second and third with nobody out for the Bats, and they squander the opportunity. Alfredo Rodiguez singled in the inning, raising his batting average to .320.

Daytona - With one out in the top of the second, James Proctor stumbles a bit. Walk, single, walk load them up. Proctor then engages Pitcher-of-the-Month mode, and strikes out the next two hitters. No score so far in the contest.
Louisville GM 1 - Since they postponed Game 2 of the twinbill, I wonder if Game 1 is going to be a 7-inning affair or a 9-inning affair. Normally, it wouldn't matter all that much, except that tonight Bo Takahashi has nothing special going on for 5.2 innings at the moment.
The Bats are leading 5-0. They scored 3 runs in the third inning: Votto single, Lopez reaches on a force play, Aquino walks, Dwight Smith, Jr. singles home a run, Alfredo Rodriguez grounds out to plate Aquino and then two wild pitches gets home Smith, Jr.
In the fifth inning they plate 2 additional tallies: Alejo Lopez doubles, Aquino walks again, Smith, Jr. doubles home Lopez and Aquino trots home once more on a ground out.
UPDATE: Takahashi must have been running on fumes. Two walks and dinger happen. Bye, bye no-hitter and shutout on one swing of the bat. Louisville leads 5-3 now.

Chattanooga GM 1 Recap - The Trash Pandas explode for 4 runs in the 5th, and hold on 4-2.
Curlis pitched shutout baseball for 4 innings, but gets lit up in the 5th.
Micheal Byrne permitted both of the inherited runners to score.
Miguel Figueroa struck out the side in his inning on the mound.
Chuck Robinson singled and walked.
Robbie Tenerowicz singled twice.
Dayton GM 2 - They are moving right along in Game 2. No score with 4 innings in the books. Ricky Salazar also has nothing going on for the first 4 innings.
Bren Spillane came out of the game, and was replaced by Mike Siani.
In 4.5 innings, there has been a total of 1 hit combined.

Daytona - James Proctor did not have it tonight. Although only being charged for 1 run, he only managed 3.2 innings on 82 pitches. Tortugas trail 3-0 in the top of the 5th.
Dayton GM 2 - The no-hitter ends with one out in the 5th. Weird goings on during the game. Siani replaced Spillane. And, now, it appears that Spillane is back in for Siani. The announcer is confused. I am not confused. It's the minors, anything can happen. History has just been made.
Louisville GM 2 - TJ Friedl hits one over the wall (2) in the 6th. That makes it 6-3 Bats in the top of the 7th.
Chattanooga GM 2 - It will be Ricky Salinas going for the Lookouts. The game has just started.
Dayton GM 2 - Alex McGarry was robbed of a home run in the 4th. With the Dragons batting in the top of the sixth, both teams have the same scoring line: 0 runs - 1 hit - 1 error.
After the first two batters were retired. McAfee walked and McGarry singled. Two on with two out. Rally over. Still scoreless in the middle of the 6th of a 7-inning game.

Chattanooga GM 2 - The Lookouts have taken a 1-0 lead in the top of the second on a pair of extra-base hits. Lorenzo Cedrola doubled and sauntered home on a triple by TJ Hopkins. That is Hopkins 4th triple here in 2021, which leads the league.

Daytona - Clearwater slaps two more runs on the scoreboard. 5-0 Threshers as Daytona bats in the bottom of the 6th.
Dayton GM 2 - The game is moving into the 7th with no score. There was a little excitement in the bottom of the 6th as J-Train Willems did his best Edwin Encarnacion imitation by rocketing a throw over the first baseman and into the stands.
