Mike Freeman to get another LHH in the lineup. Ok with me.

Big thing tonight is if Vlad can continue to look good in a starting role. Wishing and hoping.

I hate the lineup. Also, if Votto can play in Louisville he can play in Cincinnati. Tony Perez didn't need rehab games in AAA.

Mike Freeman LOL, and some wonder why a lot of us are already talking about selling at the deadline.

Though I would rather have Barnhart 6th, India 7th, and Freeman 8th.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

That's what happens when you lose 3 regulars to injury.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I figured they would skip Vlad not that it really matters.

You go with a 33 year old journeyman with 349 career PAs? No, this is just another example of a front office and staff who really have no idea what they're doing so it's back to the Castellini bargain bin.

Not like we’re exactly risking the season here.

Why would you not show a little confidence in the kid after his debut?

Also, this is a way to help keep innings down a bit after a weird 2020. Pitching injuries are really piling up across the league.

Well, I am just speculating.. Maybe Votto can only DH now? Or maybe his thumb is still a bit sore, they want him in a game where it's no big deal to have to yank him out?
I mean, you know I am not a fanboy of this front office, but I feel there' s a reason.. Other position players didn't have to rehab.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

This is right answer. Votto said as much when he called in and did some play by play the other day. He can hit fine but it still hurts to catch the ball.

Again, 3 regulars down, and one of your backups also down, yes you start getting into the journeyman player category.
