Castellano's is on some kind of ass kicking streak. Crazy yes batting in the .360's. Either the Reds re-sign him or better get a major haul if traded. His value right now is peak AMC stock

Shogo is hitting .189. Who's looking for that?
Bud Selig: "I'm the worst commissioner ever"
    Rob Manfred: "Hold my beer"

For something so right, why does it look so terribly wrong?

I know the rules say you have to play 9, but…

Maybe give him some at bats that would change? He didn't even have a spring or a rehab assignment he just lost his spot for no reason

Bell has devalued Shogo's value - some other team probably would look at his late 2020 performance and be able to use him effectively. Bell would have probably managed the great 8 to a .500 record. Can't you see him giving Pete a day off and saying its because it was previously scheduled?

Ha, I made a solid chunk of money off AMC this week, hopefully the reds sell Cast at the right time.

I get why Shogo isn’t seeing the field much with Winker-Naquin-Castellanos all doing very well. I don’t really get how Bell hasn’t managed to get him involved beyond the occasional pinch hitting opportunity and it seems obvious he really should be getting regular ABs in Louisville until they need him.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Exactly. Instead, they've chosen to do nothing with him. Play him, try to trade him (I guess), or send him to Louisville. Any of those three options are better than the nothing that he's doing now.
