Castillo has one of the easiest motions I’ve ever seen.

Farmer’s BABIP is awful and he’s hit the ball pretty well this year. He’s right around the league average in exit velocity and hard hit rate. Maybe the luck will even out eventually.

Now that’s just ridiculous. After one fly out?

India worked the count this time. 43 pitches in the third.

Reds need to hang tough, this should be an Antone game, always a good chance to win.

Getting that pitch count up for Peralta. That'll do.

    Made him work at least.

Probably haven’t seen Peralta pitch since last season, but his stuff looks much better than I recall.

I would like a transcript of everything Castillo says during a game. Dude looks like he’s cracking jokes the whole game.

Luis has really got his pitch count back after that 20 plus first inning.

This is the ground ball/solid K pitcher that Castillo is at his best.

GB rate good but not great this season. Usually it’s very high. We’re seeing it today.

    Lifetime 52.3%.

Funny post but I disagree. Joey is going to hit some big HR and that one was needed for sure...kudos but also expected every 25 AB or so. He’s going to make mistakes and errors at first ....but that effort is completely unacceptable and me or you could’ve been where he was and got in front of that ball, no it’s not any fun but it’s 100% how you play the game.

He can hit 2 more HR and win the game and more than atone for that play/effort....but my problem is that is how he always plays that ball and it’s just unacceptable to me as a fan. Every time he does it it’s going to tick me off a bit. I will continue to blame Brandon Phillips for starting it.

Play it like you’d teach your son to play it.

Nice play by Farmer. He has cat-like reflexes. The reflexes of a CAT!

    NL batting leader keeps hitting
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
