Good start in Atlanta. 4 games out of first.

    Jun 14-16 : 3 at Brewers 3-0
    Jun 17-20: 4 at Padres 0-4
    Jun 21-22: 2 at Twins 1-1
Jun 24-27: 4 vs Braves at home 1-0

    Total: 5-5

Loss to Braves. I didn't see most of it, but encouraging that it was a competitive game and we got a QS from Vlad (I think). Unfortunately, 5 games out now.

    Jun 17-20: 4 at Padres 0-4
    Jun 21-22: 2 at Twins 1-1
Jun 24-27: 4 vs Braves at home 1-1

6 games out now. Big series with Brewers coming up, hopefully we can make up ground then.

Before Reds play Brewers the three top Central teams each play 10 games. (Reds currently in third, 6 out of first.)

Reds have Philly (1), Padres (3), Cubs (3), Royals (3), all except the last series at home.

Brewers play Cubs (3), Pirates (4), Mets (3), only the Cubs series in Mil.

Cubs will be playing Brewers and Reds on road, as indicated, followed by Phillies in Chicago (4).

Then the Reds have their 7 consecutive games with Brew surrounding the ASB. Hopefully Reds will be in striking distance and take advantage of that opportunity.

Re: Tracking the Reds tough schedule until the trade deadline

I want to see them take the Philly game, 2/3 from SD at home, 2/3 from the Cubs at home, at least split in MIL and don't get swept in lowly KC. Any more than that is a nice bonus. That would put them at 46-44 at the break...not great, but the 2nd half schedule isn't too scary so who knows what will happen. Maybe they make another Archie Bradley-like deal...they did it last year.

Still 6 out, Brewers are 8-2 in their last 10 games, so all things considered, we're doing pretty well.

If Milwaukee would stop beating everybody, that would be fine.

We used to think it was just west coast trips but now the west coast teams are just killing the Reds in Cincinnati too.

Expect the Brewers to win the next four in a row against the Pirates with a clean sweep. That will put them at 52-33, 19 games over .500.

The Padres and Giants are great teams, and we don't have a bullpen, so I don't mind getting killed by them as much.
Although of course, it would have been nice to win a few more.
What frustrates me is our play against Diamondbacks, plus we only did so-so vs the Rockies, when we should have killed them.
