These 20+ pitch innings are statistically odd. Mahle and Castillo are the bottom two qualified starters in the league for P/IP at 17.5+. Miley is just ahead of them. Most of the rest of the staff is well over 18. Can't imagine it's a strategy? But how can every single pitcher be at the bottom of the league.

And with this bullpen that is a problem. Starters have been going deeper into games though. And it has helped tremendously .
