    Tatis is good

Sort of surreal to see the Reds playing in front of a bunch of fans. It's been a while.

Yeah but 90’s Griffey, young Andruw Jones nor Willie Mays would’ve had a different outcome

“Greene has 8 k and jus 1 walk and is pumping in strikes pretty good! He even hit 104 mph!! Unfortunately on the negative in he has given up 4 HR so he’s not there yet but man it’s exciting watching him develop.”

There isn’t a way in the world to make 4 HR a positive to me. None, not apologizing for that. That park average 18 HR a game? It’s a flyer park and an easy HR. HR happen to everyone but there isn’t a pitcher alive excited about 4 HR in 4 innings.

Greene obviously needs better command of off speed stuff or he’d be lighting it up in the bigs. Until he gets better command and better off speed hitters in AAA and the bigs will get theirs off him more than we expect….which leads to the Mazzone comment of “you can time out a jet airplane if you see it enough”

membengal….my apologies for not seeing an apparent earlier post about the field and situation….I was tryin to make sure you actually meant that Greene gave up 4 HR…thought I was reading it wrong….so I asked for clarification….you snapped back a bit and I was genuinely asking as I didn’t know. My phone on this site gets its battery zapped badly and I can’t stay on here long and read through everything or battery will go from 65% to 40% like that…..yeah I need a new phone but this is only site I have that issue with.

    I hope we are good.
fair enough. My apologies for snapping. I think Greene gets WAY too much crap from some posters on here for reasons that are weird - shouldn't have lumped you in with them. I don't think people generally understand what a crazy weird hitters park he was making his debut in.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

I'm having deja vu, I think. It's almost like there used to be another guy by the same name that destroyed the Reds...

A problem when a cutter over cuts high in the zone, even on this tough to hit HRs night. I hope it didn't up the Reds' hitters thoughts of trying for HRs!

Looks like the most talented player easily between both teams. Reds just don't have someone like that in their lineup

A bit off topic, but I find it fascinating that James Shields of all people, was twice involved in trades for one of the games best prospects. One trade worked out well for the team trading for him, the other trade worked out amazing for the team trading him.
