If getting your lineup to the press quickly was a Manager-of-the-Year category, David Bell would at least get some down-ballot votes.

This is the best lineup we have right now. Santillan is going to need some support - let’s get an early lead. Paddock is mediocre.

My Reds and 76ers last games were heart breaking losses. Hopefully they both bounce back with a win tonight!

I love they are playing the Padres but that 10:10 start and I’m leaving early morning for the beach….might get 3 innings in

    Go Reds

Unlike some here in RedsZone I think the players understand the ebb and flow of a 162 game season. They'll be alright.

Move Suarez to 8th or Bench. He has had almost a full season of production batting under .200

As a long time sports and Reds fan I have always despised the term “moral victory”.

But last nights game showed fight and they overcame when they were down to their last pitch…that kind of resilience you do want to hold on to.

Now, Blowing a 7 run lead like they had in StL? That is what you block out. Fortunately they won and it didn’t cause any brain damage! Or not as much…

Agreed completely. Last night's end result wasn't good, but we had two rookies and a team leader will us back into that game. If we show that kind of fight every game we're a problem for the rest of baseball.

Bell wants to have a RH hitter batting sixth to avoid three lefties in a row and your only other choice is Kyle Farmer, whose career line looks a lot like Suarez's recent struggles. Might as well go with the guy who has a reputation and can take the pitcher deep...

I'm worried that last night's implosion fired up the Padres and poor Santillan may get ambushed early, but hope not.

The top of the 9th rally last night was awesome. Hopefully that enthusiasm carries over and we get a big enough pad that even our pen can't blow.

The #reds are wearing USS Cincinnati caps during BP today. Members of the submarine’s crew will be at a game this weekend. They will be signed and sold to benefit the Reds Community Fund. @ Petco Park https://instagram.com/p/CQSAZiZBpgw/

    Re: 6-18-21 Reds @ Padres 10:10pm

Less worried about any spillover from last night, more concerned about Chris Paddack who seems dangerous despite a 4.14 ERA. He's another guy who doesn't allow too many walks so the Reds might be swinging into quick outs again if they aren't squaring some balls up.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
