That is just a 2-0 a major league pitcher can't throw.

    Dammit.

One of the stranger looking home runs I’ve ever seen in my life, especially in Petco

    Welp... it’s either gonna be a shoot-out or we’re gonna lose 14-0

Not sure “give up a HR to start each inning” is a winning strategy
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Maybe one day the Reds will learn how to play well on the west coast.

They strike out more than the Reds batters and have a lower batting average. They do walk more but that’s it.

0-2 pitch was at least 15" lower than the borderline high strike Barnhart wanted.

Also... this game is going to last the rest of our lives. We’ve already had a long delay and neither of these pitchers is in any hurry. At all. Is it too soon to bring in Wade Miley?

I was speaking on a macro level. Not referring to one solitary AB.

It's OK, Jim Day. An honest mistake. There have been five ships named USS Cincinnati in the history of the U.S. Navy. The current one is, in fact, a combat ship. However, the previous one (the fourth one) was a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine active from 1978 to 1996. It was the same class as USS Dallas, the American sub in the Tom Clancy novel and film, The Hunt for Red October.

6 HRs in 11 innings for SD, just 1 for us.

    Gotta pump those numbers up…
