I think he was brought up because there was no one else to call.
He strung together a few good outings in the beginning, that's buying him more time.
I guess I don't have a problem with him being here though, there's other guys in the pen that are worse.
Not that he (Hendrix) is great.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Farmer had a nice game. Made himself a hard out.

I think at this point Ty Steve should be the starter. For obvious reasons. Barnhart doesn't save that much with his glove as his automatic out with the bat.

Well, we can still hope to split this series.

We’re still bad. Reds got us with double whammy, the bullpen meltdown game followed by the slow death march game back to back.

Really need a quality start from Gutierrez tomorrow.

I am 100% okay with Bell's catcher strat so far. Especially since they can get beat up so much in a season. We have two good options and I like it.

Padres bullpen has been pretty good this season and it’s not an area where they invested much in the way of money. I think it’s too simplistic to say the problem is an open and closed case of lack of spending, it’s more poor planning and bad development.

Not that he (Hendrix) is great.
There are only four pitchers on the 40-man roster who are not already either on the active roster or the DL.

Riley O'Brien is in the Louisville rotation.
Jose DeLeon and Cionel Perez are in the Louisville bullpen.
Jared Solomon is on the Chattanooga 60-day DL.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Who got that 9th inning double last night that put the tying runs in scoring position?

Lucas Luetge had not pitched in the majors since 2015 and he’s been great for the Yankees. The Reds had him in their system in 2017. Money or not some teams are better at scouting and getting cheap options.

Reds offense is not very good. GABP makes them out to be much better than they actually are. Offense really only has two guys that put a scare into other teams pitchers. That is essentially a AAAA lineup

This team cannot compete with this bullpen.

If you look at Tucker over the last month though, he’s got a .616 OPS with a .310 OBP. I think he’s come back to earth after his hot start at least to the point where TySteve should be starting everyday, platoon advantage or no.
