Plainer fasiatis. It is miserable. I have it. It also will not go away without surgery. Will have stretches where it will be fine. Then weeks of intense pain.

As for Osich. I guarantee you there are several relievers sitting at home unsigned. That are worlds better than this guy and would sign for league minimum. Work the phones. Once in a while you find a pitcher this way. Takes effort though.

Last Bell commented on this, it was a “few days setback” and now he’s out like an extra month or something like that?

This org’s handling of injuries is starting to turn into a clown show

*yeah he’s out until July 20th at least. Jesus Christ.
Just now your frustrated with this teams handling of injuries? I remember Jr's knee being a day to day thing like it was yesterday [for those of you too young to remember, a day to day knee thing usually ended up a long trip to the dl].

Reds medical team has said he didn’t tear his plantar fasciitis but this injury is sure looking like it. I don’t think he’ll be right till next season. There is something more here that the Reds aren’t saying.

Logan Ondrusek is pitching in the Mexican League. Maybe we can pull Scott Sullivan or Danny Graves out of retirement.

I find all this below-average pitchers shuffling is simply absurd. Who are they trying to kid?

It’s what ended Jack Lambert’s career. That guy would play through anything but could not work through that.

I thought it was turf toe that brought Lambert down.

A friend of mine was a QB/TE at Ohio when Lambert was at Kent State. He said trying to block Lambert was like trying to block a spider. (Lambert was 6'4" and only about 195 lbs. when he played for the Flashes.)

There really aren’t a lot of good options just sitting there. There are 62 relievers who have put up a 6+ ERA this season. That’s two per team.

Every team is struggling to find enough decent relievers. It’s not surprising when nearly every team had 14 man staffs and rotates pitchers on a weekly basis.

I thought it meant the same thing. Turf toe just sounded easier to understand then planter what you call that again?

Plantar fasciitis is when your heel hurts. I had a mild case of it once, and it is no fun. Hard to believe that it would end someone's career though.

LOL I'd kill for only 2. Counting those we sent down we have 7

Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the connective tissue that supports the arch of the foot. The tissue is connected at the heel, and is aggravated by bone spurs on the heel.

Turf toe is a sprain of the ligament that attaches the big toe to the foot.
