June 19 Reds Transactions: Osich up, Goudeau down, Moose to 60-day IL

The #Reds today selected from Triple-A Louisville the contract of LHP Josh Osich, optioned to Louisville RHP Ashton Goudeau and transferred to the 60-day injured list 3B Mike Moustakas.

I have been complaining about a guy (Goudeau) in the bullpen with a career 4.81 earnie in the minors. Good, he's gone. So, they replace him with a guy who has a 5.01 earnie.....in the minors.

Pretty obivous this was coming when he came back to Cincinnati from his rehab assignment.

Just saw this and trying to make sense of it. Because on the face it makes no sense. Here's what I think. Osich must be on taxi squad and is available immediately. Because otherwise Diehl is nuch better choice.

I think Osich will be dfa soon unless he is miraculously good.

Moose was extended for another six weeks. That is how long it takes bone to heal.

Wonder what is really going on with him.
