I thought the 3 spot was for your best hitter?

Castellanos has been scuffling a bit. I like the move.

Would be really nice to avoid the sweep. A 4-3 road trip going into 2 games with Minnesota is a victory in itself.

Yep. .657 OPS over the last 14 days. I think hitting in front of Naquin, who hasn't hit much in a month, is hurting him. I expect around .850 OPS or so from Castellanos from here to the end of the year.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Anyone word on whether Votto will be suspended? There were rumblings yesterday that he might be.

I would have loved to learn what was said in that spat. Of course, our relentless beat writers have yet to find out.

I made a post when the road trip started. Hoping for a 5-4 road trip. Still possible. Someone posted that he didn't think they would lose more than 1 game in SD.
He must have not be a fan for long. Reds always struggle on the West coast.

Probably 3 games. He will appeal it and probably miss a game or two would be my guess.

Yea why not Votto, Naquin, Barnhart?
This team really needs a healthy Moose.

No Tatis as expected today. I wouldn't mind having their backup SS, Kim is a great defender and has a 1.3WAR despite limited playing time and lackluster offensive numbers.

I hope Shogo has a good game for NatiGals..
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Joey Votto says his father would have been proud of him for throwing that tantrum yesterday?
The announcer framed it as "sticking up for himself".
I mean, come on.. he made a fool out of himself.

I'd rather he didn't get himself ejected, but I'd also like to know what that ump said to set him off like that.
