I believe you just articulated the reasoning behind most replay decisions. It's probably why it takes so long.

Classic case of the "climbing the ladder" strategy on Suarez, every pitch was higher than the succeeding pitch, with the 5th one, another fastball above the zone finishing the job.
Reds 20th in MLB hitting against lefties with a .697 OPS. Better than is was earlier in season, but no great shakes.
Since Bell likes to platoon, he might consider whether some of his RHHs are the best guys for the job. Not seeing too many “lefty mashers” this year.

Of today’s position players, Suarez this year has the lowest OPS againt lefties, .524 OPS. He used to mash lefties. Heineman .564, Votto .588 OPS against lefties this year, some small samples Reds don’t face lefties that often.
