Farmer 2-3. Excellent D. I will never understand why so many Reds fans despise him.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

If Aquino can swing like that he's going to get a lot more ABs.

Only if the other team starts a LHP. He will get plenty next year after Castellanos leaves though.

At the very least as a reserve. Big-time snub.

RZ chatter about Frank Robinson would have been interesting if the internet existed in 1956.

    Yes it is.
I don't get people trashing the team. I mean after tonight they will be at or just below .500
Exactly where everyone picked them to be. Plus nobody expected Castillo to start season so bad or Suarez to be awful. Or Garrett to be as bad as he has been so far.
Then you lose your top two relievers in a already horrible pen. Gray goes down twice. Moose out pretty much all season.
Take all that into account and I think they are playing better than anyone would have expected.
Yet night after night here. We get multiple this team sucks posts. THEY DO NO SUCK.

Castillo turned it around when he started getting vertical action on his breaking pitches.

Heck yeah. It’s July and the Reds are still a fun team to watch. There have been recent seasons where that wasn’t so.

Lots of flaws but some exciting players.

Needed warmer weather way more than sticky stuff to get the grip and feel
