not even being sarcastic: the 2021 reds are a very dumb team baseball-wise. they do a lot of dumb stuff. swinging 3-0, terrible baserunning, bad defense, etc. they are the opposite of what anyone would consider a "smart" baseball team.

Webster Rivas sounds like a fictitious player for some European soccer club on a FIFA video game.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

That play Lopez made was exceptional. Really nice.

A lot, but not ALL, of that is because they're playing a lot of young players.

That doesn't make it ok but it makes it a little understandable.

Lopez made that in between play look easy and showed a laser arm.

Suarez may want to start going oppo again

I know I'm getting older now. I've said before all these guys have kids playing now. Crazy.

i'm just glad every analyst says greene has definitely leapfrogged him as the best pitching prospect in all of baseball (despite greene's shaky outing last night).

Luis Castillo now has his ERA under 5.

I remember more than once thinking that seemed like a pipe dream with the way he was pitching early on. Just goes to show what a run he’s been on.

So glad he has it back together. The Reds need Castillo on his game if they’re gonna have a prayer of playing October baseball.

I don’t mind the 3-0 swing allow to Stephenson at all. It was literally the most crushable pitch Weathers has thrown. He just just missed it. The 3-1 pitch wouldn’t have been as good (yes maybe a walk)

They trust him to bat there in the order….why not trust him there?

Yea I don’t like it when the Kyle Farmer’s of the world swing 3-0, and sadly this year I don’t like Geno doing it either.

But Wink, Cast, Votto and Stephenson too? Swing away if it’s there. You could probably include India in that as well.
