Daytona - Posts a crooked number in the 4th, taking a 2-1 lead.

Ivan Johnson goes deep (3). Michel Triana walks. The pitcher makes and errant toss trying to pick him off, and then throws a wild pitch. Triana is standing on third when Austin Hendricks grounds out as Triana scores.

Chattanooga - For the second time in 3 AA starts, Graham Ashcraft is taking a no-hitter into the 6th.

Chattanooga leads 3-0, after scoring two runs in the fifth. Singles by TJ Hopkins, Quincy McAfee, Errol Robinson and Braxton Lee send two home.

UPDATE: The no-hitter is intact through 6, although the pitch count is getting up there. 6 Ks in 6 innings. Ashcraft has also induced 10 ground ball outs.

Louisville - Tony Santillan worked a scoreless inning. And, now, Jeff Hoffman is coming out of the pen. Maybe Gameday has that wrong. Hoffman started and went 4 innings on the 2nd.

Dayton - Dayton now leads 5-3 in the 8th.

They scored a second run in the 7th when Victor Ruiz reached on an error. It took singles by Alex McGarry, Jose Tello and Reniel Ozuna to finally bring him home.
The Dragons then added 2 more in the 8th. James Free walked. Victor Ruiz singled. Miguel Hernandez followed with a run-scoring single. An error brought home the second run in the inning.

Daytona - The Tortugas scored 2 more in the 5th. Daniel Vellojin singles to start things off. A wild pitch gets him to second. Leonardo Seminati reaches on a catcher's interference, and, then, Debby Santana singles a run home. A ground out gets Seminati across the plate. Daytona leads 4-2 in the home half of the 6th.

Chattanooga - Ashcraft is laboring as he starts the 7th inning with 6 straight outside of the zone. The no-no is gone on a single. Runners at first and second, none away. And that's all for Graham, as Hector Perez is coming in out of the bullpen.

UPDATE: Hector Perez shuts Birmingham down in the 7th, striking out 3, while keeping Ashcraft's streak alive. Well done, Mr. Perez.

Louisville - Ah, it wasn't Jeff Hoffman getting 'Haranged', it was Ashton Godeau on the mound. He gave up 3 runs in the inning. Louisville is being embarrassed today, 9-1 in the bottom of the 8th.
