I am low on Hendrick, and would absolutely move him if the Reds could get multiple years of a quality player. FWIW, I think that's more of an offseason deal than a midseason deal.

It's turning into a banner for the TJs (Friedl and Hopkins). Add in Tejay Antone and I'm thinking the Reds should hoard guys with that name.

I wish Hopkins (who was totally off my radar to start the year) would show a bit more power.

Driving those dump trucks in the off-season will put some starch in his linen.

    Good question

    1. Greene
    2, Lodolo
    Gaping hole
    3. Barrero
    Another big hole
    4. Ashecraft
    5. Hendrick
    A Grand Canyon sized hole
    6. Vlad
    7. Santillan
    8. Callihan
    9. Bonin
    10. Richardson

Sleeper who probably helps the big league team at some point - Kolosvary

Not real high on anyone outside the top 5. There are some cheap role players in there, but there are cheap role players on the free agent market every year who perform about the same. I think the market has evolved to the point where the cheap kids from the system to play on the bench is no better bargain than a cheap free agent, maybe a minor league deal type. Kids who are difference makers are still valuable, but there are hundreds of guys available every year to serve as roster depth and that is how I view everyone above number 5 on this list. .

All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

    Re: Minor League Trade Chips

It’s been a long while since I’ve thought about something like this but maybe something like:

    1. Greene
    2. Barrero
    3. Lodolo

Big Gap (and everyone below is relatively interchangeable)

    4. Hendrick
    5. Callihan
    6. Hinds
    7. Ashcraft
    8. Richardson
    9. Bonnin
    10. Roa

Don’t really think of Santillan or Gutierrez as prospects anymore but big leaguers.

    5. Hendrick
    6. Ashcraft
    7. Hinds
    8. Callihan
    9. Richardson
    10. Allen
